About this course
Engineering management sits at the meeting point of technical expertise and organisational leadership, preparing graduates to direct and coordinate engineering projects, teams, and operations within complex technical environments. At Abertay University, you will study Engineering Management over four years, full time, with a year abroad included in the programme. The year abroad gives you international exposure that is particularly relevant in a field where engineering operations frequently span national boundaries and where global supply chains, multinational teams, and international standards are the norm. You will develop technical foundations in engineering principles, including design, systems, manufacturing, and technology, alongside core management skills in project management, operations, finance, strategy, and leadership.
