In a nutshell

Working in a butchers, butchery department or meat processing plant.

What you'd do

Break down carcasses and primals into retail joints
Bone and portion meat to customer and weight specifications
Prepare value-added products such as sausages, burgers and marinades
Display and label meat counters attractively
Maintain correct temperature records for chiller and display
Clean and sanitise equipment, surfaces and cutting boards
Advise customers on cooking methods and meat selection
