In a nutshell

Construct, maintain and repair gas network infrastructure, to provide a reliable supply/service to domestic, commercial and industrial users.

What you'd do

Excavate and support trenches safely alongside gas mains
Assist with pipe laying and connection tasks
Carry out gas leakage surveys using detection equipment
Operate traffic management and barriers around work sites
Assist with backfilling and surface reinstatement
Report hazards and faults to the network team
Complete job records and site documentation accurately
