In a nutshell

Progressing legal matters and transactions, applying legal knowledge and commercial judgement to produce solutions which meet clients' needs.

What you'd do

Advise clients on legal matters under supervision of a partner
Draft contracts, letters of advice, and legal documents
Conduct legal research using case law and legislation databases
Manage a caseload with support from senior solicitors
Attend client meetings and represent client interests
Prepare court bundles and assist at hearings
Comply with SRA professional standards and firm procedures
