In a nutshell

Inspecting components, materials, welds and other items within manufacturing processes.

What you'd do

Set up NDT equipment ready for inspection tasks
Carry out dye penetrant, magnetic particle, or ultrasonic tests
Apply test media and interpret results against standards
Record findings clearly in inspection sheets
Segregate rejected components and raise reports
Follow all site and radiation safety procedures
