In a nutshell
Installing, repairing and maintaining various elements of the internal structure of a building.
What you'd do
Fix metal stud and track framing for partition walls
Screw plasterboard to frames and tape and joint to a finish
Install suspended ceiling grid systems and drop tiles
Lay raised access floor pedestals and panels to level
Install fire-rated boarding and intumescent seals
Read and follow detailed architectural fit-out drawings
Work safely at height using steps and light access equipment
