In a nutshell

Delivering programmes and interventions to help people affected by injury, ageing, illness or disability.

What you'd do

Assess patients' movement, strength, and functional ability
Diagnose physical conditions and formulate physiotherapy treatment plans
Deliver manual therapy, exercise therapy, and rehabilitation programmes
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Work in multidisciplinary teams with doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists
Educate patients and carers in self-management and injury prevention
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HCPC standards
