In a nutshell

Applying and fabricating insulation and cladding materials.

What you'd do

Measure, cut, and fix insulation materials to pipes and vessels
Fabricate and fit sheet metal or GRP cladding over insulation
Work from scaffolding and elevated work platforms safely
Remove and replace old or damaged insulation systems
Follow permit to work and hot work procedures on industrial sites
Read pipework drawings to plan insulation sequences
Inspect finished work for quality against specification
