In a nutshell

Carry out operations in a clean water or waste water treatment facility to ensure water safety.

What you'd do

Walk the site at set intervals to check plant and equipment
Take process samples and carry out basic water quality tests
Monitor flow rates, chemical dosing levels, and process readings
Report faults or unusual readings to the shift supervisor
Assist with routine cleaning and housekeeping of plant areas
Help technicians carry out minor maintenance tasks
Update the shift log with all readings and actions taken
