In a nutshell

To assist traffic teams by ensuring the accurate flow of information throughout traffic.

What you'd do

Monitor road networks using CCTV and traffic management systems
Detect and record incidents and alert the appropriate response teams
Operate variable message signs to inform drivers of hazards
Liaise with police, highways teams, and emergency services
Update traffic information systems and media channels in real time
Log all incidents and actions accurately in control room systems
Support colleagues during major incidents or high-traffic events
