Blockchain Developer
What you'd actually do
As a blockchain developer, you write code to create systems that work like a shared ledger - a record book that lots of people can see and trust, but no single person can cheat. You might build a system for banks to move money faster, or for supply chains to track where goods come from, or for healthcare to store patient records securely.
Your day involves writing code, testing it to make sure it is secure and works properly, and talking with your team about what users actually need. You learn and use new tools and programming languages regularly because this technology is still new and changing fast. The challenge is making systems that are both secure and fast, so millions of people can use them without things breaking down or getting hacked.
