As a forensic accountant, you are part detective, part accountant. AI handles structured, well-formatted data well but struggles with fragmented, cross-jurisdictional investigations where human judgement and source relationships matter. Combining ACA or ACCA with a law conversion course, a CFE qualification, or a postgraduate certificate in digital forensics signals to employers that you are not a one-dimensional number-cruncher. The professionals commanding the strongest salaries in forensic accounting increasingly sit at the intersection of financial, legal, and technical expertise. That combination is much harder for AI to replicate than accounting analysis alone.
