Construction management is the profession responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring that built environment work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required standard. At the University of Roehampton, this three-year, full-time programme includes a foundation year that builds the professional and academic foundations needed before progressing to degree-level study, a sandwich placement year for extended industry experience, a year abroad, and work placement integrated throughout. This combination of structural features gives you substantial practical and international exposure alongside your academic development. You will explore the roles and responsibilities of construction professionals, the structure of the industry, the commercial and contractual frameworks within which projects operate, and the technical and managerial skills needed to lead construction work effectively.
