At Teesside University, this part-time programme gives you a grounding in the principles of health sciences alongside knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and the systems that regulate the body's functions. You will explore how homeostasis, the maintenance of stable biological conditions, operates across the body's major organ systems, and how disruption to these processes underlies many of the conditions encountered in healthcare practice. The part-time mode of study is designed for students who are balancing education with work or other commitments, allowing you to build a degree-level qualification over a longer period without giving up your other responsibilities.
