About this course

Natural sciences is a broad and integrating discipline that allows you to study the physical and biological world without being confined to a single specialism. Where conventional science degrees require you to commit early to chemistry, physics, biology, or earth sciences, natural sciences allows you to work across multiple disciplines, building connections between them and developing a breadth of scientific understanding that more specialised programmes cannot offer. This part-time programme is delivered by the Open University through distance learning, making it possible to study the natural sciences at degree level without attending a campus.
