About The Royal Veterinary College

The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is the UK's largest and oldest veterinary school, located on campuses in Camden, north London, and at Hawkshead in Hertfordshire. It is a college of the University of London and is internationally recognised as one of the leading veterinary institutions in the world.

The RVC offers programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, and biological sciences. Students gain clinical experience through the college's own veterinary hospitals, which provide referral services and handle a wide range of cases. The dual-campus model combines the research environment of London with large-animal facilities in a rural Hertfordshire setting, preparing graduates for careers in small and large animal practice, research, and public health.
